Blake Reid is the premier destination for one-of-a-kind, destination weddings and elopements in Washington State. Specializing in weddings, engagements, and commercial photography, shooting both film and digital formats. Blake loves collecting film cameras, drinking whisky, and spending time with his wife and their 6-month old puppy. 


We are a husband and wife wedding photography duo based in Seattle. We love to capture real weddings and real moments between couples on their special day. We shoot weddings all over the PNW including Seattle, Redmond, Kirkland, Bellevue, Bellingham, Vancouver, Portland, and anywhere you'd have us (We love shooting destination weddings)! We have photographed hundreds of weddings in beautiful locations, with many being Seattle elopements on the coast or in the mountains. We'll be there for you through every step of the process—from initial contact to post-wedding delivery—and we can't wait to hear all about it!

How long have you been shooting weddings?
I’ve been a wedding photographer for 5 years now and it is my dream job. There’s absolutely nothing better than getting to meet and create beautiful memories with every single one of my amazing clients!

How many photos do you return?
I typically return 50-100 photos per hour of coverage.

Where are you located/Will you come to ___?
I’m located 20 minutes east of Seattle, Washington but am available for travel worldwide. I regularly shoot weddings across the West Coast.

What kinds of photography do you specialize in?
I specialize in natural light wedding and commercial photography! I’ve shot weddings, proposals, engagements, family photos, portrait sessions, and lots of various commercial work.

How much do you charge for ___?
It really depends, but I love working with all types of people and all types of budgets. Weddings I begin at $3,300.


What do you shoot with?
I shoot on a Leica M240, two Canon 5D Mk IIIs, a Leica M6, and a Canonet QL 17III. Do you have your own studio?
I don’t have my own photography studio or wedding venue, but I shoot often in a few different Seattle photography studios, (big fan of Northlight) and I have a ton of wedding venues I LOVE. If you’re looking for a natural light studio photographer, or just looking at studios/venues, I would love to help give you options! 

Where specifically are you located?
I am broadly located in Seattle, Washington in the Pacific Northwest. I currently live in Redmond, Washington, but travel all across Washington and the United States capturing engagements, weddings, products, and brands. 

Can you capture our rehearsal dinner?
I absolutely can! Included in every elopement and wedding package is an engagement photography session and you can also add on rehearsal dinner coverage to any package.

Do you capture wedding videography as well?
I stick to just wedding photography, but I do know plenty of wedding videographers, day of coordinators, and wedding photographers in Seattle, and I would love to help with wedding videographer recommendations.

What’s the best part of being a wedding photographer?
My clients. Their lives & the adventures we get to create. The places I have the absolute fortune of travelling to capture. The authentic moments that happen when two people who love each other come together in front of their friends & families to get married.

What other types of photography services do you offer?
I focus on professional wedding, engagement, and product/brand photography, but I also do portrait photography, family photography, and plenty of corporate headshots & content work. You can find my commercial photography work here.

We need images for our wedding invitations/save the dates…?
Exactly why I include a free two hour engagement session along with every wedding package booked (along with lots of returned engagement photos). Not only does it help you feel comfortable shooting with me, but it also makes sure you have updated photos for great wedding invitations!
